Marrakech City :

It is early morning when the first echoes call to prayer, or at dusk, begins to subside when the great noise of crowds, the beauty of Marrakech grabs the visitor. Like a mirage.
In the distance, the sparkling snow of the Atlas; around the course arid semi-desert landscape heralds the Saharan expanses; closer still, the greenness of the palm, form a view like no other.
Protected by its ramparts and towers of clay, the Medina spreads to the horizon plane geometry of terraces, vertiginous tangle punctuated now and then the green roof of a madrassah, or the high silhouette of a minaret . Cutthroat rose at sunrise, ocher red sunset, the city becomes the color of earth at times stifling summer days, as to suggest the ancient cities narrated by storytellers from Jemaa El Fna.
Only the black column of smoke still a potter's kiln amounting to electric blue sky, white or vibrant clothes drying on the roof recalls that in the dark labyrinth of alleys and bazaars, a life feverish still crawling. Let yourself go, lose touch with reality time a romantic evening. Marrakech is made for that.
